Nick Hart is the K-12 Assistant Coordinator for Performing Arts in the Lexington Public Schools. He taught elementary general music at the Fiske school for 18 years. He grew up in Lexington and attended Diamond Middle School and Lexington High School.

He lives here now, and his children went through the Lexington Public Schools. His undergraduate degree, in oboe performance and political science, is from the University of Michigan.

He has a Masters in Music degree in oboe performance from New England Conservatory, where he met his wife, the flutist Ann Bobo. He started teaching in public schools in 2004. He has a cat named Oliver, known to his students as Mr. Fuzzypants.
