After seventeen years of dedicated service, LexMedia announces the departure of Executive Director Florence DelSanto, effective March 2nd.
Under Florence’s leadership, LexMedia has seen numerous milestones that have cemented the Media Center as a community resource. Her legacy includes spearheading the move to our current location, overseeing years of seamless Patriots’ Day coverage, and navigating the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by pivoting to vital remote programming. Most recently, she championed the development of a local news show dedicated to telling stories about Lexington, for Lexington.
Her commitment to community storytelling and providing an outlet for creative expression has permanently impacted Lexington. While we will miss Florence’s leadership and presence, we’re excited to see what her next chapter holds.
From everyone here at LexMedia – thank you Florence!
Thank you Lexington!
I often went to LexMedia for guidance and support, and she was always welcoming, patient, and incredibly helpful. Thank you, Florence, and best wishes for your next chapter
Thank you, Florence! Speaking from experience, you support for Lexington’s nonprofit community has been an inspiring contribution to our community. Best wishes.
Florence has been such a warm and graciious support to us at First Church of Christ, Scientist. Whenever we requested to have our annual lecture recorded and aired she has always been responsive and ready to do whatever needed to accomplish that.
Thanks to you, Florence. May the future be just as rich whatever path you choose to take.
Thank you Florence for everything at LexMedia. Wishing you the best with your next chapter ahead!
Florence, as a member of the Town Celebrations Committee, I want to say what a great friend, helper, and partner LexMedia has been to TCC in producing our celebrations for Patriots’ Day, Memorial Day, and Veterans Day. During the Covid years when no parades were possible, LexMedia worked with TCC to create video productions so Lexington was able to celebrate these holidays. Thank you for your steadfast support through the years. Farewell, and we wish you well in your future endeavors.
