The Hometown Media Awards is the Foundation of the ACM’s yearly awards program. It is established to honor and promote community media, community radio, and local cable programs that are distributed on Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) access cable television channels. Rick Dorrington won Community Events General Access Center Professional for his coverage of the Lex250 Visitors Center video unveiling. Rick last won a Hometown Media Award in 2022 for his piece on the grand reopening of Omar’s World of Comics. A huge congratulations to Rick for his hard work and deserving win!
