LexMedia will hold its Annual Meeting on May 20th at 6:30pm at Brookhaven. This year’s special guest is Brittany McCarthy of Boston 25. Brittany McCarthy has been at Boston 25 for 12 years. She started as a writer before moving up to Morning News Producer. She then became Creative Production Manager, followed by Executive Producer and Zip Trip Coordinator and Promotions Manager. She’s now Boston 25’s Business Development Manager.
Brittany will discuss the various components of producing local news programming and her role as business development manager at Boston 25. There will be a short period of questions and answers following her presentation. The evening will includes the installation of new board members, a report from the co-chairs, and an annual treasurer’s report.
LexMedia members, friends, and the general public are invited to attend. LexMedia’s Executive Director, Florence DelSanto, and the Board of Directors will review the past year, honor staff achievements, and look ahead with members, staff, and community members. There will also be an opportunity for LexMedia members and the public to give feedback and share ideas. Refreshments will be served.
